AutoClip starts a step earlier: you give it a video URL or a channel to watch, and about 10 to 15 minutes later you have around nine reframed, captioned clips ready to post to 13 or more destinations.

The honest framing is that Repurpose.io is not competing with AutoClip so much as picking up where a clipping tool leaves off. Repurpose.io assumes the hard part is done: you watched the video, picked the moment, trimmed it, sized it for vertical, burned in captions. What it gives you back is a routing engine that keeps that finished file flowing to the platforms you connected, on the cadence you set. That is real value if your bottleneck is distribution, and it handles some audio-first routing that AutoClip does not touch at all. But for most people the bottleneck is not distribution. It is the 40 minutes of scrubbing through a two-hour upload looking for the 45 seconds worth posting.
